This tiny jewel of a vineyard in the Coombsville AVA of Napa Valley is tucked away between a small creek and 300 year old valley oaks.  It produces those timeless characters of elegance and balance and is perfect for intense, refined Cabernet Sauvignon.


The vineyard is dry farmed and never sprayed with herbicides or pesticides.  Each vintage is a pure expression of that season. Every aspect of maintaining the vineyard is done by hand.



Why 2009?  Embarrassing but true, we found a pallet.  Stored perfectly and buried under some other cases.  10 years of quiet aging has produced a superb, elegant, mid-weight wine,  The fruit is still bright and fresh and has captured the joyful complexities of age.
